Exclusive Insurance Facility for INCVF Members

In working with community and voluntary organisations, the Irish National Community and Voluntary Forum (INCVF) recognised that the single biggest headache that most groups faced was insurance, with insurance costs putting pressure on many groups, and leaving others unable to continue their much valued activities.

As such the INCVF worked with BHP Insurances, the leading insurance brokers in the Community, Voluntary and Charitable Sector, and RSA, one of the largest Insurers in the Irish Market, to organise an insurance facility which would cut down on paperwork and expense.

The Community Forum Insurance Scheme is fully endorsed by the Executive Committee and is open to all affiliated members. The work done by the INCVF was welcomed by The Taskforce on Active Citizenship, who recommended that it be promoted widely among relevant organisations and groups.

Current groups covered on the INCVF/BHP scheme receive average premium savings of 56%
